Welcome to St Anne's School

St Anne’s Special National School was established in 1967, and moved to its present location on the edge of the Curragh in 1974.

We are a co-educational school for pupils between the ages of 4 and 18 who have been assessed a having either a moderate or severe/profound general learning disability.

Many of the pupils would have additional needs such as physical disabilities, sensory impairment or autistic spectrum disorder.

Our aim is to give the children a caring and inspiring academic atmosphere to enable them to achieve their full potential.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to parents and families who are interested in finding more out about our school either through our web site or visiting us personally.

We enjoy visitors coming to our school but with a prior appointment as this minimises disruption to the classes and the timetables.
